My name is Gonçalo Paulo. I am a product designer more well know by my middle name Videira, inspiration for my portfolio name and image.

I always felt most at home when surrounded by machines, technology, and objects. My curiosity and dedication to understanding their functionality have driven me to explore their inner workings, often dismantling components to gain a deeper comprehension of the mechanisms.

Since I can remember, I have been sketching ideas and concepts, from practical to unconventional, on any piece of paper within reach, always trying a new approach to day to day problems.

Sustainability and materials as a drive to rethink product.

From conception to post-use, is important to give materials a second chance and think new ways a product can or will be used after is fist life.

I strive to make my designs more sustainable and functional by combining natural and industrial materials, by finding unexpected use cases for materials and following an user centered approach here form follows function.
